Razvan Stoica is recognized across the world as the best violinist under 30 years of age, after winning the Euro Broadcast Competition, Slovakia, Bratislava, in October, 2013, is recognized as a violinist and artist of an amazing technique, known at the highest level for his virtuosity, passion, integrity and lucidity of his playing.
It is not only the fact that Razvan Stoica has been born in a family of famous musicians of an undeniable quality and prestige, but his charismatic performances during the latest years and his virtuosity and passion that have drawn the attention of both the public and the press.
Razvan Stoica has been awarded over 35 international prizes in various international competitions, but only “Strad Prize” Competition, held in Salzburg Austria, has brought him the incontestable and well deserved honour of owning and playing an Antonio Stradivari violin, crafted in 1729 and played by Paganini himself. “The Queen”, as this is the name of the violin Razvan is playing, for seven years now; it’s not the only violin the artist owns and plays.
As Razvan Stoica will be starring the “Strad Style” film, which is to be launched all over the world in the near future, he has been given another beautiful violin, crafted by an amazing, American, violin maker, Daniel Houck. The violin is an exquisite copy of Guarnieri Del Gesu, “Il Canone” (1723) and suits Razvan Stoica’s special and overwhelming technique and sound.
Razvan Stoica’s ambition, talent, amazing technique and dedication brought him up, to the top, among the world’s wide known violinists.
He was awarded, in 2014, the Romanian Cultural Excellency Award and he has been guest soloist of well-known orchestras.

Their debut disc “A Journey into classical” under Universal Music Label has been a real success being sold out within the first weeks.
The suave delightful tone, the heavenly sound and the charismatic performance of the young violinist made the prestigious critics stand up for his presence in concerts and acclaim him to be: the greatest violinist of his generation!
There is nothing more that can be said of his performances than what his public affirms after attending his concerts: „[…] Stoica had it all: the golden tone, the immaculate technique, the beautiful line, and something else; live, he radiated emotion.”; „[…]I closed my eyes and the young who was on stage I heard it like a 70 year old men that lived his whole life and now is sharing with us his experiences of a lifetime. I loved the interplay with orchestra and conductor. I was also intrigued by his changes of vibrato colours: a painter with sound.”; „[…]Stoica by contrast celebrates gesture, risking control, musical architecture and line in order to attempt faster attack, harder connection of the bow through the string, and greater tonal extremes. His brilliance finally had space to stretch, his expressiveness given reason and scope to justify it.”

I’ve received an invitation from the Classical Music Journal to attend the concert of violin virtuoso Razvan Stoica and concert pianist Andreea Stoica in Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam on the 16th November 2012.
Both musicians give of their utmost and, when the musicians in question are Razvan and Andreea, that makes for something exceptional.
The concert started with a passionate rendition of Schubert monumental “Grand Duo” Sonata. They are both well matched as chamber musicians, and both performed with fiery commitment and technical aplomb in this sonata. It was a warmer rendition of this sonata then Janine Jansen and Itamar Golan and more virtuoso then Repin and Lugansky.
“A Stradivari with passion.” So hot the first CD that the young Romanian violinist Razvan Stoica which was made in summer of 2012 in Krakow ??with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Alexander Happiness. It is a fantastic debut album, which recalls the violin virtuoso’s of yesteryear. The intensity, instrumental sophistication and musical freedom that Stoica ‘Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso “by Saint-Sa?ns, the” Tzigane “by Ravel and the” Symphonie espagnole “by Lalo plays, places him in the line of great violinists as Ivry Gitlis, Vadim Repin, József Lendvay, Leonidos Kavakos and, shimmering in the distance, even legendary violinists like Yehudi Menuhin and Jascha Heifetz.
Spring 2012 was followed by the equally impressive CD recording of the 24 Capricci by Paganini, which are fireworks Stoica reared in ancient Paganini interpreter Ruggiero Ricci. And this summer appears the third album “Capriccioso”, which showcases his versatility Stoica in virtuoso, jazzy or lyrical gems include Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Faure, Paganini, Chausson, Pärt, Piazzolla and Grapelli. His five years older sister Andreea accompanies him on the piano. The blood musical duo creates the impression from an early age to fully matched and attuned to. Wanneke Savenije
